The Salesians of Don Bosco, founded by Don Bosco is an international organization of men religious dedicated to the service of young people. They focus all their initiatives on youth resource development programme thus providing quality and relevant education to all, in a value based environment, thus forming men and women of character, competence, conscience and deep compassion and commitment. With its headquarters in Rome, Salesians of Don Bosco is spread over 135 countries. Through a global network of educational and social service organizations which include 15 universities, 58 institutions of higher education and thousands of schools and social development centers. It currently caters to over fifteen million young people the world over. Today, the Salesian Family boasts of nearly 402,500 members in the service of young people.
With a presence in more than 130 countries, the Salesians are dedicated to serving young people, especially the poor and marginalized, through schools, technical training centres, youth clubs, and pastoral activities.
